Black Friday It’s that time of year again: families are gathered, work is closed… Oh, and EVERYTHING IS ON SALE! The question is, when do you get the better deals? For decades, people have been running out the day after Thanksgiving to get all the lowest prices for just about anything you can imagine. Now there’s another way to get great deals without even leaving the comfort of home. Which is best for you depends on what you’re shopping for. But when it comes to finding the best deals for your company’s AMS, you don’t have to wait for a holiday to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck!

Black Friday
I personally will not venture near any retail venues between Thanksgiving and the following Saturday. The idea of standing outside in the cold and getting shoved by other overly-excited consumers sounds unappealing in my opinion. However, according to a study posted in the World Property Journal, more than 60 percent of shoppers prefer to shop in the store on Black Friday. It also shows that about 40 percent of people shopping in stores end up spending more money than they planned.
There are also some really great deals that you can only get the old-fashioned way – by standing in line. When it comes to technology and appliances, standing outside at 4am (or ON Thanksgiving at some locations) just may be worth it. You’ll probably see the same items for sale online later, but those doorbuster deals will be hard to beat.

Cyber Monday
Cyber Now, Cyber Monday I may partake in. I like being able to stay comfy in my bed, grab my laptop or phone, and take my time to decide what I want to order. This option also allows people to keep from spending more than planned, since there is time to remove items from your cart before submitting the payment. The downside? If you tend to impulsively shop (like myself), it’s a bit more of a hassle to cancel or return your purchases. Another disadvantage of waiting until Cyber Monday to make a purchase is finding your item was sold out on Black Friday, and you miss the deal.
Despite these setbacks, there are plenty of pros to shopping online. You can even shop at several stores at once! Instead of shopping at one store, waiting in line, trying to park at another store, and then repeating the process, you can actually have a number of tabs open at the same time in your browser. Sometimes you can even get better deals than on Black Friday if a retailer didn’t sell as much as expected.

Year-Round Deals
Imagine this: you’re through with your old AMS, and your company has decided it’s time for a new one. The problem is that there are so many options available. You’re not even sure where to start looking. Since not every AMS is a perfect fit for all associations, you don’t want to choose the wrong one and get stuck in a lengthy (and possibly expensive) contract that doesn’t meet all of your needs. Look no further! You have already come to the right place.

fusionSpan can work with your staff on ALL OR ONE of the following aspects of the AMS selection project:

  • Discovery and Requirement Analysis
  • RFP Development and Distribution
  • Proposal Review
  • Product Demonstrations
  • Implementation Testing and Workflow Review
  • Contract Negotiation
  • Implementation

The best part is that once you have gone through the implementation process, you don’t need to shop around for ongoing support with the product. We offer that service here as well. How’s that for a great deal?

Stay safe and Happy Thanksgiving from everyone at fusionSpan!
