Justin Burniske

A member of the fusionSpan team since 2015, Justin brings his business and association background to the fusionSpan team. He serves in a range of roles both consulting with clients and supporting their strategic vision through technology. Prior to joining fusionSpan, Justin spent three years at the Council of Chief State School Officers, where he oversaw the implementation of the organization’s first ever association management system.

Justin has presented at both the Abila Users and Developers Conference, as well as the Texas Society of Association Executives. Justin has his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and was a Plan II and Math major at the University of Texas. Careful, his positive attitude is infectious.

Our Approach

Just as every problem is different, so is every solution. We tailor our approach to helping you based on the challenges you’re having. A few example approaches include:

Meet with staff to understand your current business and challenges, then audit your platform to validate those challenges. From there we identify a list of recommended solutions, including staff, process changes, system configurations, and customizations.

Serve as an additional resource to your team, supplementing staff process with fusionSpan staff. We can resolve issues, configure new solutions, provide training, and manage vendors among other tasks that your staff doesn’t have the bandwidth to manage. Cost can be hourly or at a fixed monthly hours at a discounted rate.

Provide your team with help around how to better leverage your platforms. We can provide the expertise staff need when they hit a roadblock and don’t know where to turn.

Instead of hiring a PM on staff to run the implementation of a new tool, allow fusionSpan to step into that role, ensuring the overall project remains on time and under budget.

Sometimes your business process requires a custom solution. Our business analysts will work closely with staff to identify the requirements before handing off to our developers to build. This can be anything from minor enhancements to an existing platform to a completely custom stand alone solution. See our Custom Association Solutions for additional details.

All associations today have multiple systems storing member data. We can connect that data through our fusionConnect service, and provide ongoing support to ensure someone is taking care of your integrations while you’re focused on the business.

If you’re not certain what you need, we’re happy to engage your team on an hourly basis, addressing your issues as they arise at our regular hourly rate. Gets you access to our expertise with no long term commitment at our regular hourly rate.

For some associations, having a full time staff person supporting staff around your platforms may not make sense. Our team can play that role, ensuring continuity of service while not having to worry about managing and staffing another resource.
