fusionSpan is thrilled to welcome Becky Breeden, a long-time technology and digital strategist with 26 years of experience in the nonprofit community. She comes to fusionSpan as the Director of Digital Strategy where she will work with clients to transform their thinking and approach to digital spaces.

Prior to joining fusionSpan, Becky worked for 14 years as the lead consultant of a well-regarded association technology consultancy, Ellipsis Partners, and most recently worked with a digital design and development company, Brightfind, as an engagement leader for large-scale website implementation projects.

In addition to broad digital strategy experience, Becky brings proven success in user research, analysis, solution design, and continuous improvement models to her practice. Engagement and purpose lie at the heart of each online interaction users have with organizations. Becky’s passion is pairing those user intentions and organizational priorities to tell stories that resonate throughout clients’ digital spaces.

Becky is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BA in Journalism and started her career in print and wire service reporting before moving to her first association job at the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. Becky relocated to the DC area in 1999 when she became the director of communications for a major association management software firm and later the Director of membership marketing for a large trade association.

Becky lives in Silver Spring with her husband, two children, and a menagerie of pets. She is a volunteer on winter weekends on the National Ski Patrol at a resort in West Virginia. She enjoys running, gardening, and music of all genres.

Carla Yvonne comes with about 20 years of global Human Resources and Talent Acquisition experience to oversee and scale people operations that affect team member experience and company culture. She is responsible for programs and initiatives that are focused on engagement, culture, total rewards, career development, DE&I, hiring top talent, and improving team member retention rate. She has previously led people teams, built HR infrastructure for start-ups, and helped prior organizations maintain their Best Places to Work status that received in total over 25 employer awards.
