images-3May 10th, just 5 days post Cinco de Mayo is another day for celebration in this month of budding optimism; AMS Fest Midwest in Chicago is the place to be and it’s cause for small associations to cheer. Those interested in examining AMS options, communicating their concerns or praises, and networking with like-minded and like-sized organizations will be in awe of such an invaluable event.

AMS Fest, hosted by Review My AMS, is led by the great Teri Carden, who started Review My AMS because,“an Association Management System (AMS) is one of the most important investments an association has to make…it’s time for association executives to have a voice about how their AMS performs with regards to customer service, ease of use, reliability, and customization. It’s time for a place where executives can speak openly and honestly about their experiences with their AMS. It’s time for end users to have a collective voice in an incredibly competitive market.

This one day symposium understands the financial burden larger tech conference pose for those on tight budgets and truly focuses on the audience. AMS Fest features an innovative idea, called Crowdsourced sessions, where the audience votes onsite for sessions they want to hear about. The agenda is full of meaningful content and audience immersion.  Carden created the fest because, Associations are craving real conversations on how we can help the movement for more reliable technology. If we can depend on our technology infrastructure, we can spend more time focusing on innovation and the missions of our important organizations. And that’s exactly what AMS Fest does, it’s a safe place for AMS vendors and consultants to listen to the real situations of associations. It’s the only event where associations can exclusively learn about and discuss association management systems”
